
2:1 Group Sessions
Perform your rehab or achieve your health and fitness goals together. Small intimate classes designed for couples, siblings or friends. If you enjoy having a workout companion this is for you! We can also place you with other likeminded clients if you need a buddy.
Group exercise has many potential benefits. In addition to the common benefits of individual exercise such as improvements in strength, endurance, cardiovascular health, bone mineral density, mental health, cognition and body composition, exercising in a group can provide a more social atmosphere, and help with motivation. Studies have shown that exercise is more enjoyable when performed in a group setting, and that people who exercise in groups find it easier to maintain consistent adherence to their training program and goals in the long term.

Your Exercise program with be personalised to you and your goals, and may include gym-based resistance training, reformer pilates, mobility exercise, and so on. Our 2:1 exercise classes run for 45 minutes, with just you and your workout partner under the supervision of one of our highly trained physiotherapists for the duration of the session. Before commencing group exercise, we will typically book you in for an initial appointment to assess you, get to know you and your history, and set goals.
